Important Dates & Information for Your Trash and Recycling Services
Keeping You Informed
We will update our office phone, social media, and website with any holiday reminders. Be sure to check our website and follow us on social media to stay up to date with our service schedule. If there are no updates posted then the service is on a normal schedule.
The holidays that services would be delayed are:
- New Year’s Day
- Memorial Day
- July 4th
- Labor Day,
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
These are the ONLY holidays that we are on a delayed schedule and ONLY if the holiday falls on your service day during the week. If your pickup day falls on a Holiday, you will be picked up the next day and we will be a day behind the rest of that week. ALL OTHER HOLIDAYS WE RUN AS NORMAL!
Example: For Thanksgiving, if your collection day is on a Thursday, you will be picked up on Friday and the regular Friday collection customers will be picked up on Saturday. When a Holiday falls on a weekday, we will be a day behind the rest of that week.
We will always update our office phone, social media, and website as soon as we have any weather updates.
If there are no updates posted then the service is on a normal schedule.
Please KEEP YOUR CAN(S) CURBSIDE and we will resume service as soon as road conditions allow us to.
Anchor Disposal will provide you with reliable, bi-weekly curbside pickup of your recyclables on your scheduled day.
When you sign up for our recycling service, our customer service representative will assign you a pickup week – commonly referred to as “black or red week.” It is very important that you remember this and schedule it to ensure you don’t miss a pickup. To help guide you with this task, we have made a yearly recycling calendar that you can follow as well.
